Although here in Atlanta we have to endure a couple of yellow weeks, spring is gorgeous and I can't wait. An escape for a week on a southern Caribbean cruise only whetted my appetite for warm weather. And by the way, look who I found - Elvis was alive and well on the Carnival Conquest! Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Veteran's Day. So many mixed emotions. Pride, love, sadness, and grief. The two veterans closest to me are my brother and my daddy. My brother Mike lost his battle with agent orange induced diabetes 6 years ago. He was a man everyone loved: a good son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. RIP Mike.
