So much beauty and so little time to capture these moments! Remember that you can see a larger view by clicking on the photo. Monday, August 3, 2015. Murph and I took a short road trip yesterday, driving in a circle from home to Stansbury and up to Miller Motorsports on Sheep Lane; then into town and down Droubay and back home. Along the way we spotted and photographed 10 different hawks! Most are Swainsons but there is a Ferruginous in there also. But they are incredibly beautiful! Along the way - beauty.

White-faced ibis are fairly common around the wetlands and fields in the summer, and they are beautiful birds up close, especially in breeding plumage. We had a wonderful storm yesterday, a bit terrifying in the middle of it because we did not know if we would get the hail that was possible - we didn't!
