Thinking Audibly: July 2013
http://thinkingaudibly.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 26, 2013. Our ward's camp out is this weekend, but we have a bunch to do tomorrow so we had to stick close to home. The kids were sad until we told them we would camp on the deck. They are still awake. Who knows if we will ever get to sleep. Everything is too exciting to sleep when you are camping on the deck. Links to this post. No jobs = no fun and something smells fishy. We were an hour late to our play date. I'm glad we went. They had a wonderful time. Right I smell something fishy too.

Thinking Audibly: Scabbing
http://thinkingaudibly.blogspot.com/2013/05/scabbing.html
Sunday, May 5, 2013. We have the beginnings of our new deck! I have to preemt this post with a big HUGE thank you to everyone who came to help! There is no way we could have done this alone. Thank you so much! As always let's get a reminder of how things started looking in the morning. This was after we checked off two soccer games on our list of things to do, but right before we forgot all about Tennyson's soccer practice, but DID remember to attend a baby shower. The new ledger was installed where we r...

Thinking Audibly: First official Quilt Market
http://thinkingaudibly.blogspot.com/2011/05/first-official-quilt-market.html
Friday, May 13, 2011. First official Quilt Market. Actually, no. I can't even begin. There is too much detail and I don't want it left out. I will say that Paintbrush studio offered me a contract! They were the second company I showed my portfolio to. The first company was also very interested, and wants to see a copy of my portfolio. Paintbrush studio is a very small manufacturing company (Actually I found this to be untrue! Can we say, embarrassing? Go to May 18, the post entitled "Lessons. There are d...

Thinking Audibly: December 2014
http://thinkingaudibly.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. How it came to be - the story of one girl's journey to becoming a fabric designer. Can I share a small glimpse into my story? I believe, no, I've had too many confirmations for that word, I know Heavenly Father has asked me to pursue becoming a fabric designer. Why? You can imagine my surprise! I wrestled with this goal a little. What is the world did it have to do with the eternities, with raising my young children (my youngest at the time was just over 6 months old), w...

Thinking Audibly: Inside the mind of the 5
http://thinkingaudibly.blogspot.com/2014/10/inside-mind-of-5.html
Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Inside the mind of the 5. Looking at the picture You would think the sounds of the top row would belong to the letters "C, G , and Q". Instead the kindergartner quickly told me the sounds of each word belonged to "B, N, and F". "B" for black cat, "n" because he's a Naked gorilla, and "f" for the picture of the two friends. Clearly. Thinking Audibly: Exhale, more of Quilt Market
http://thinkingaudibly.blogspot.com/2011/05/exhale-more-of-quilt-market.html
Sunday, May 15, 2011. Exhale, more of Quilt Market. I think I may have been holding my breath the whole weekend. Market is an amazing, overwhelming, incredible, terrifying, joyful experience. It really was better than I could have dreamed. The second time I showed my portfolio I was offered a contract with Paintbrush Studio! Then the third, forth, and fifth, showings all asked to be sent a portfolio. I could not believe what was happening to me! It was a very surreal, humbling experience. I had to go int...

Thinking Audibly: February 2014
http://thinkingaudibly.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 4, 2014. It's ok. You're second! Sanders and I are quite the team these days. Everyone else is in full time school and while he'll lament, "I am behind everyone! He gets a lot of perks for being the only one vying for my attention that I really don't feel too bad for him. But, after today, maybe I need to step up my game. We were walking into Joann's to see if we could find the magazine that had an article about me. In it (I KNOW! More on that in a second). Who's your second favorite?

Thinking Audibly: Sanders turns 5!
http://thinkingaudibly.blogspot.com/2014/03/sanders-turns-5.html
Sunday, March 16, 2014. Your 5th birthday (March 2, 2014) was SO highly anticipated by you. I kept asking the day before if you were sad this was the last day you'd ever be 4. (Truthfully, it was because I was feeling a bit sad it was your last day ever to be 4). Each time you'd look at me like I was crazy and say, "NO! You could not turn 5 fast enough. Your pre-school birthday balloon hat Mrs. Karen made you. You wanted legos and you got them! You have been building, imagining, and building some more.

Thinking Audibly: Sucked back in
http://thinkingaudibly.blogspot.com/2014/01/sucked-back-in.html
Thursday, January 30, 2014. Sanders called me from the bed he was supposed to be sleeping in, "Mom, I have to tell you something so hurry up and say, 'What? You're cute, Mom.". How do they do that? Just when you are ready to put them up for sell, they suck you right back in with their cuteness. Dang, cute, kids. Also, isn't Ferb the best? Labels: out of the mouth of babes.
