http://knittingnana-jan.blogspot.com/2010/11/just-want-to-get-those-pictures-off.html
Just want to get those pictures off the top! I have a lot to post about but haven't had the time/energy to do so! On 10/29/10, 1/2 of the house was underwater from our hall toilet! As of today, 11/29/10, we are still walking on glue and concrete floors. but they are coming Wed. the 1st to start on the new floors. they are replacing all of the wood flooring and the 2 extra bedroom's carpet. this has been so stressful but thank God our insurance is paying for it all minus our deductable. Make It and Love It.

We were really surprised that Rich Thomas was right and we got snow. It snowed for about 10 hours and we had almost 3 inches on the ground. Pretty good for our neck of the woods! Difficult to photograph a white dog in the snow! Jimmy took this coming home from work that day. This is down Old Rifle Range Road - doesn' it look neat! Jimmy took this as he was coming into the neighborhood from work. All this white stuff and we didn't even build a snowman! It was pretty while it lasted! Links to this post.

For the first time, Christmas was celebrated at our house this year. We enjoyed having everyone, the fellowship and good food. Like Thanksgiving, everyone brought a dish and we had ham with 2 dressings and several side dishes. Talya made Betty's dressing for Jim and it was very good! She is a wonderful cook (not like her mama! Here are some photos of the day (the one of Cotton was taken on Christmas Eve). Cotton chewing on one of his favorites - rawhide! This was the best of the 2 he took. Cotton watched...

Wednesday, August 17, 2011. My 39 week visit today was an important one! I have progressed enough that the doctor doesn't think I will make it through the weekend. However, he will be out of town this weekend. So that he doesn't miss the delivery and so that I don't have a stranger delivering the baby (there are 2 OBs in our town and they don't practice together! We are inducing tomorrow afternoon! He asked if I were ready to do it today after the appointment and that answer was a quick "NO! Then we went...

The Jernigan's: The Name and Nursery!!!
http://laurenanddanjernigan.blogspot.com/2009/07/name-and-nursery.html
Dan, Lauren, and Hicks. Wednesday, July 8, 2009. The Name and Nursery! We have decided on a name. We will call her. Mary Maddox is my great grandmother's. Name and Maddox is my mom's maiden name. This was Dan's favorite name that we were contemplating. That made it easier for me because I liked all the names we were talking about the same. It is so much fun to have decided on one and actually call her her name! Now on to the decorating! Embroidered scalloped edge with dots. Roth Country Gingham- pink.

Even though it is summer and I am not working, it has been non-stop. First of all, my sister in law, Dixie, had her baby, Anna Jane, the first week I was out. We kept Addie (her daughter) while she was in the hospital. We kept her three nights and man that was a job! I spy some rednecks! So for now. have a wonderful week! I have b...
