Growing Up With Mr Bear

Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Two Years Old and Reading? This morning Joseph dragged his oversized monkey from the corner of his bedroom and sat him down in front of the sofa. Joseph announced, "I cover monkey with my blanket." I asked Joseph if his monkey would to be read a book. Joseph picked up a nearby book and sat it on his lap and began reading, "Once upon a time.". So, the book did not start out this way, but Joseph had me convinced! Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Labels: Out Of The Mouth Of Joseph.

Joel Hagin Carmichael | Baby Blog – Updates on Joel’s Progress | Page 2

https://joelhagin.wordpress.com/page/2

Photos and a mini-update. On: September 19, 2008. Joely walking at the zoo. Joel has had croup this week. No fun at all. It hasn’t been too bad compared to what we went through when John-John was a little guy (we were at the ER multiple times yearly) but we’re ready for him to feel better. He continues to learn new signs and words and has become even more independant and opinionated lately. Just like a two year old should be! Stopping to say hi to mom and the camera. Therapy planning, silly boy and more.

Sleep is for Sissies…. On: October 23, 2008. 1 Response to "Photos". November 5, 2008 at 6:46 pm. I can’t believe Joel is 2 years old and has grown from that tiny little baby into such a handsome boy. What a wonderful smile! I enjoy checking out the website to get updates and most of all to see pictures of my favorite little NICU buddy. I always enjoyed taking care of him, mainly because he has such a great family. Happy Birthday to Our Four Year Old!! | Joel Hagin Carmichael

https://joelhagin.wordpress.com/2010/10/30/happy-birthday-to-our-four-year-old

Happy Birthday to Our Four Year Old! On: October 30, 2010. Everything everyone prayed and worked for, God has brought about and we are incredibly thankful for this beautiful, divinely ordained and preciously commonplace life we are living. (We are also still praying for many who are in the middle of an “alternative normal” and fighting for their own tiny/ill babies! Speaking of Mr Normal. He is now four years old! Hard to believe, huh? We are thankful and love you! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Decisions, decisions.. | Joel Hagin Carmichael

https://joelhagin.wordpress.com/2008/12/05/decisions-decisions

Thank you, Thank you! On: December 5, 2008. Today Joel graduated from PT! While we will miss Tina very much, we’re glad that little man has accomplished so much and has “outgrown” his friend. Our dilemma is this, I don’t think we need Early Intervention right now but I’m a little concerned about stepping away. It’s interesting to me how I’ve had four other children and this little guy still sets off so much insecurity in my parenting. What if we miss something important? 1 Emily, Susanne and Carsten Bach.

Sleep is for Sissies… | Joel Hagin Carmichael

https://joelhagin.wordpress.com/2008/11/14/sleep-is-for-sissies

Thank you, Thank you! Sleep is for Sissies…. On: November 14, 2008. I have noticed the past two days that his language skills seem to be improving and he’s learned to jump with both feet off the ground. Maybe that’s it? Speaking of jumping, Joel has some sly dancing skills, I really need to post a video! I don’t think I’ve posted this information yet? I hope everyone is doing wonderfully and enjoying November. The holidays will be here very, very soon! 1 Response to "Sleep is for Sissies…". You are comme...

Growing Up With Our Kids

Growing Up With Our Kids. My own personal parenting myths exploded. July 23, 2009 by kathrynbrand. Before I became a parent, I had lots of ideas about what it would actually be like to have kids. Some of my ideas were right on target, but some of them couldn’t be further from the truth. Here are some of my pre-baby ideas that didn’t match up with post-baby reality. Enjoy. I’ll make my own baby food. Gerber, Gerber, Gerber. Breastfeeding is hard work! My kids won’t eat junk food. And the surplus in the ch...

Growing Up Without A Father | Non-Profit | Organization | Adult | Fatherless

IMAGINE FOR A MOMENT THAT YOU COULD BE THE FATHER YOU NEVER HAD. One out of every three American children lives in a home without their father. Whether through early death or divorce, incarceration or extreme neglect, twenty-four million children in the United States are left to grow up with the emptiness, guilt, self-doubt, underachievement, anger, and depression that a fatherless home can provoke. Growing Up Without Schooling

Growing Up Without Schooling. This is my family's journey through life. Loving, Learning, and just Living. Thursday, September 20, 2007. Look who was in the kitchen again. And it was delicious. Ice Princess made the dough herself and she was so proud to make us lunch. But I think that my favorite part was when both girls were sitting in front of the oven, watching it bake. The way that they were excited as the flame kicked on and found pleasure in seeing the cheese melt, it was too cute. I know that Migh...
