Hello to you all. My name is Stephen Hammond and I am the owner and operator of the business. I also design the products and in many cases manufacture the finished product, unless specialist equipment is required. Gryphon Design and Manufacturing was set up in March 2009 to support the design and manufacture of replacement parts for classic cars. Initial products are focused on the Vauxhall slant 4 series of engines and vehicles which use them.

Oil Pump Refurbished Units. The Vauxhall slant 4 engine came in a number of forms and was fitted to a range of cars of the 60's, 70's and 80's. A critical part of the engine was the oil pump located underneath the distributor, drawing fresh oil from the sump via a very long pickup pipe. These oil pumps came in three forms.
