Halcyon Travels: Musical mural
http://halcyontravels.blogspot.com/2015/06/musical-mural.html
Photos from my travels near and far from home. These beautiful works can be found in one of the many halls of the Vienna Staatsoper. I really enjoyed touring the building and I hope you did too. For more murals, take a look at Monday Mural. Photo taken in May 2015. 01 June, 2015 00:18. I really like the clean, sharp lines in these murals and also the muted colors. Often murals use colors that scream at you while these colors invite you to stop and enjoy. 01 June, 2015 01:17. 01 June, 2015 04:01.

Berlin heute: July 2015
http://berlin-365.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
A photo a day from germany's capital city. Here's a little teaser for tomorrow's theme day. I actually took these shots in May 2014 at the Ai Weiwei exhibit. In Martin Gropius Bau. I don't think I ever shared them though as I am not 100% pleased with how they turned out. Although it's no longer open to the public, the famed Cafe Moskau still stands on Karl Marx Allée. It was one of the top spots in the DDR, though not everyone could afford the high prices. The architectural design is somewhat dat...If yo...

Last night a group of friends (including Halcyon and Dreamer's Click) went to see Snoop Dogg in downtown Jackson. The show didn't disappoint! Here's a look at the artist as captured from Dreamer's Click's cell phone. Good times, good times! Jacob and Lois Anne. Not my cup of tea, but Im glad you had fun, and the photo aint half-bad.its not a Nikon D3100 shot, though! March 24, 2011 at 7:37 PM. Glad you had fun.
Berlin heute: Peeking out
http://berlin-365.blogspot.com/2015/08/peeking-out.html
A photo a day from germany's capital city. The spires of Saint Nikolai-Kirche. Peek out from between two buildings in the Nikolaiviertel. Although this part of the city. Has become a bit touristy, it's still a nice place for a stroll. The city of Berlin began right here back in the medieval days and Saint Nick's is the city's oldest church. Unfortunately, most of the buildings in the quarter did not survive the war and have been rebuilt in the style of the era. 06 August, 2015 00:33. 06 August, 2015 02:19.
One a Day from Toronto: Many faiths
http://torontodp.blogspot.com/2013/09/many-faiths.html
One a Day from Toronto. A photographic look at life in the Greater Toronto Area. I found this colorful beauty at the intersection of Church and Shuter. I looked for some more information online and found that it is part of the Paint Your Faith. Project that encourages young people to express their spiritual beliefs through an artistic medium. For more murals from all over the world, visit Monday Mural. The more you look, the more you find! 23 September, 2013 18:30. 23 September, 2013 19:37.

One a Day from Toronto. A photographic look at life in the Greater Toronto Area. January theme day: Photo of the Year. Since I spent most of 2013 in Toronto, it only seems fair to choose a favorite shot from that city. This was a special winter shot from Niagara Falls taken in January 2013. Hope 2014 brings you continued good health, love and joy! For more photos of the year from around the world, click here. PS: Don't forget to visit me at my new blog - Berlin 365. One a Day from Toronto: Blue skies over Casa Loma
http://torontodp.blogspot.com/2013/09/blue-skies-over-casa-loma.html
One a Day from Toronto. A photographic look at life in the Greater Toronto Area. Blue skies over Casa Loma. I've shown you flowers. From the gardens at Casa Loma and luckily I got to visit the actual Casa recently with out of town visitors. It's a huge house and there's lots to see inside. It's almost too much, but it was fun and interesting, especially since we did an "Upstairs, Downstairs" tour. For more skies, take a look at Skywatch. Amazing palace, looks so clean and new! Good luck with the move!
One a Day from Toronto: Little birdie!
http://torontodp.blogspot.com/2013/11/little-birdie.html
One a Day from Toronto. A photographic look at life in the Greater Toronto Area. A fellow Toronto blogger, RedPat,. Introduced me to these cute, yellow birds and ever since I've been on the lookout for them! I found this one off McCaul Street, just south of the AGO. Although I'm still missing Toronto, things are looking up for me in Berlin. Although our hunt for a home is still ongoing, my husband and I joined a golf club this weekend (I guess you can see where our priorities lie! 25 November, 2013 04:29.
One a Day from Toronto: Blown to the wind
http://torontodp.blogspot.com/2013/09/blown-to-wind.html
One a Day from Toronto. A photographic look at life in the Greater Toronto Area. Blown to the wind. I found this mural somewhere on Church street. I'm not sure what it's all about, but I do love the image of the woman and the boy blowing their wishes to the wind! A link to the artist's website is here. This will be my last mural posting for awhile, but not forever! Berlin also has plenty of wall art to share. Until then, enjoy the many murals at Monday Mural. 30 September, 2013 00:37. I love this too!

Photos from my travels near and far from home. For those without the power to ascend Phnom Bakheng. Elephants are at their service. Though I am sure it must be quite an experience, I don't think it's right for humans to "ride" elephants. Instead I took a few pictures of these beautiful creatures. Photo taken in December 2016. UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Looking out through the ruins of Phnom Bakheng. Photo taken in December 2016. PS: Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends! UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
