Grace Mayer: February 2011
http://grmayergraphicdesign.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 23 February 2011. I was looking through some photos from my visit to North Queensland earlier this year, and found the photos I took of some Australian plants and flowers. I know that the first one is a Hibiscus flower but I can't seem to find the names of the others, sadly. Since my final design is producing a floral effect, I thought these might give some inspiration. Thursday, 17 February 2011. This is what the form looked like when folded together and attached at the base:. During the past...

Today I Wore My Hair Up.: The Beginning Bit
http://catowendesign.blogspot.com/2011/05/beginning-bit.html
Today I Wore My Hair Up. Wednesday, 4 May 2011. One of the alterations I wanted to do was begin my animation as a blank background and gradually reveal the figure. I manage to to do this by masking the first few frames on photoshop. Posted by Cat Owen. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Graphic Design for the win! View my complete profile. Today I Wore My Hair Up.: May 2011
http://catowendesign.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Today I Wore My Hair Up. Thursday, 5 May 2011. Step 2: FINAL ANIMATION. Posted by Cat Owen. Step 1: "Red Beating Heart, Walking Figure and Crazy Background". To begin my animation process I thought the best option was getting the basics in. Seen as the walking figure and beating heart are throughout the animation I started with creating the full 29 second animation with these aspects in the right order and with the right timing. So far so good! Posted by Cat Owen. Wednesday, 4 May 2011. Posted by Cat Owen.

LauraO Graphic Design: Progressing with the final structure
http://lauraographics.blogspot.com/2011/03/progressing-with-final-structure.html
Saturday, 12 March 2011. Progressing with the final structure. My flatmate took an interest in what I had been making the past few days, and took this photo of me working. I had been getting annoyed with the paper and forming it into the shape that I wanted which means that I'm not quite sure how big the final piece will turn out. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Today I Wore My Hair Up.: Final Storyboard
http://catowendesign.blogspot.com/2011/05/final-storyboard.html
Today I Wore My Hair Up. Wednesday, 4 May 2011. I've slightly altered my final storyboard using the new media styles I have chosen, however, the storyline is basically the same and the timings haven't had a huge difference to them. Black background, gradually heart and figure revealed in time with the beats . Figure and heart completely revealed. (Heart still beating in time with music). Figure begins to walk. City begins to draw itself. (Figure still walking and heart still beating). Posted by Cat Owen.

Friday, 11 March 2011. Visually I thought the design that looked best were of an envelope, paper crane, postcard, greetings card, paper plane and book. Below you can see the 6 different designs. I have no idea why blogger hates me an has turned most of them the wrong way! There are also a million pictures it refused to upload, so the ones below are the only ones that worked. RebeccaMorgan-GraphicDesign: Initial Poster Experimentation
http://rebeccamorgan-graphicdesign.blogspot.com/2011/03/initial-poster-experimentation.html
Friday, 11 March 2011. After looking at Jen Stork's work I was inspired to experiment with coloured paper and simple shapes. I decided I wanted to keep the poster quite simple so as you can see, that's the vibe I was going for. I wanted the design to very obviously just look like cut out paper. RebeccaMorgan-GraphicDesign: spitting feathers
http://rebeccamorgan-graphicdesign.blogspot.com/2011/03/more-bird-shit-just-in-case.html
Friday, 11 March 2011. After looking at birds and deciding it would be nice to include them in my designs somehow I started experimenting with how this could be done. After looking at the photographs from The Natural History display but also at the feather pens inside the shop I decided to focus on the idea of using the feathers, so I started trying to figure out how I could create them out of paper. I also attempted to take a few photos demonstrating movement, the feathers falling in the wind. I do ...
