Entry to live music in the bar is free to members - though a donation would be appreciated. Non-members will pay a small fee for concerts (normally 4- 5) and will have full access to all bar facilities. Sorry, but use of the snooker tables and other games facilities is only for members and their guests. We are currently putting together a programme of bands for the New Year, and that programme will be posted here. The club has had a large number of great acts recently. and they'll be coming back too!

You cannot just apply to join by yourself: your name has to be put forward by two current members. Your application would then go before the committee, and assuming there was no pressing reason for you to be rejected, you would be invited to join (please note that there may be a waiting list). At present, there is a one-off joining fee of 5.00, and an annual membership fee of 25.00 ( 12.50 for over-65s). The club is owned by its members, and managed by an elected committee.

Other games played in the club include pool and darts. The games room has a TV - in addition to the two in the main bar - and there is also a card table for cards or dominoes. These facilities are only for the use of members and their guests, and no gambling is allowed. Snooker in the club. The club consists of two bars: a large bar for general use, and a smaller area with a quiet lounge section, and space for games (snooker, darts, pool). Come along one day and try it all out. (Guests should be signed in by members). The Club has had a number of successful live acts recently, including Freddie Mercury tribute man Billy West. Leading Hawick band The Honey Badgers. Upcoming acts can be seen on the events page. And will also appear on the noticeboards of the club itself.
