This was my first big craft fair and it was a bit of a squeeze to get everything into our little car but we managed - just! A big thanks to my lovely and resourceful sister for all her help. Friday, 20 May 2011. I am exhibiting at Made in Clerkenwell, Craft Central's open studio event in central London this weekend. Explore the studios and prepare to be tempted with work from over ninety designer-makers. I am sharing (the extremely glamourous sounding) Studio 54 with two other very lovely and talented designers: Faith Tavender who creates beautiful sterling silver jewellery and Emily Hall who specialises in ceramics and basketry. Saturday, 22 January 2011. Beautiful, shiny, new camera! I have finally bought myself a new camera and I am super excited about it! It is a Canon EOS 1000D which is a lovely, swanky digital SLR! Until now I have been relying on my little 'point and shoot' digital, compact camera but it doesn't always give me the results I want. Thursday, 24 February 2011. I recently received this card which I think is great! It is by an eco-friendly company called Hazel Bee. I really love the quirky, hand drawn images and witty text. I have had a look at some more of their fab designs and also love this one of a cat. It reminds me of my 'Curious Cat' cushion design which started out as a doodle nicknamed 'the most unfortunate looking cat'! It turned into a very, cute patchwork cat cushion though!
