Benin, Africa - HelpBenin.com. Present day Benin was the site of Dahomey, a prominent West African kingdom that rose in the 15th century. The territory became a French Colony in 1872 and achieved independence on 1 August 1960, as the Republic of Benin. A succession of military governments ended in 1972 with the rise to power of Mathieu KEREKOU and the establishment of a government based on Marxist-Leninist principles. A move to representative government began in 1989. Total: 112,620 sq km. Total: 1,989 km.

Chad and Casper are now down at the new house in florida, and I am in ohio for the next 18 days getting things wrapped up at school. Just another day in the neighborhood. Thursday, May 28, 2009. October 2008: Niagara Falls! When mom came to visit us in Ohio we decided to drive up to New York/Canada to see Niagara Falls. We spent 1 night in New York and 1 night in Canada.the falls were a lot more impressive from the Canadian side! Posted by Lauren and Chad Rogers. Just another day in the neighborhood. Sunday, August 30, 2009. Florida.here I come! In less than 10 hours I will be in hot, sunny, Florida! Just in time too because it was pretty chilly here today.i was cold all day! I can't wait to be in the sun! Getting up at 3am to leave the house by 430am to be at the airport by 5am because my plane leaves at 6am. yuck. Help Ben Help Others. MS Coast the Coast. May 21, 2011. Annual Bike Ride for Amy. June 5, 2011. In 2010, I rode in the 50 mile MS Coast the Coast ride down the Jersey Shore. Each rider was asked to raise $200 in order to participate. About 10 days before the ride, I realized I hadn’t done any fundraising yet, so I reached out to my friends. I was overwhelmed by the response. In just a few days, you helped me raise over $1,600. Thank you again to everyone who supported me. 4th Annual Bike Ride for Amy.
