Solid Gold Cooking: Bananas
http://solidgoldcooking.blogspot.com/2010/03/bananas.html
We are six girls who were college roommates and will be best friends for life! Our best work took place on the 'Solid Gold', and we would like to recreate some of that greatness here again as we share our favorite recipes. Monday, March 8, 2010. Don't throw away brown bananas, throw them in the freezer! They defrost quickly when you're ready for them (about 30 minutes on the kitchen counter) and are perfect for making banana bread, muffins, smoothies, and anything else requiring bananas.

We are six girls who were college roommates and will be best friends for life! Our best work took place on the 'Solid Gold', and we would like to recreate some of that greatness here again as we share our favorite recipes. Friday, May 28, 2010. Not chicken pot pie, just chicken pie. Think Southern. This is an old family recipe from my friend Melissa Maxwell. It's Scotty's favorite food. I only "go to" this if I want to be impressive. 4-5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1 ½ c. chicken broth. Simmer 5-...

Kate Relates: Snurfing
http://katerelates.blogspot.com/2013/01/snurfing.html
Kate and (her) Rich. Sunday, January 20, 2013. Rich's dad, Rob, just so happens to be one of the world's first snurfers. Snurfing is an early form of snowboarding, and I have delightfully retro proof in the video below:. Rob, or "Buck", is the one in red, with the fantastic fro. The duo compiled the footage back in high school in an effort to improve their failing English grades. The visual poetry and lyricism earned them a B-. Not bad.). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://robertandemilymortensen.blogspot.com/2009/06/were-back.html
Sunday, June 14, 2009. So now that school is over, I feel like I can breathe again. I thought I had stopped procrastinating once I got out of school myself, but this is not true. Anna's school requires 30 hrs. of parental involvement and I left 22 hours until April. I hardly remember kindergarten and never went to preschool- look how I turned out! Ruthie has turned into the embodiment of all personality. She walks around all day with. Or "Oh, no! Hey good to know youre still out there! Yay, youre still a...

http://katerelates.blogspot.com/2013/08/rob-dog-in-big-apple.html
Kate and (her) Rich. Monday, August 19, 2013. Rob Dog in the Big Apple. Oh hey, blog. I was looking through some of our pictures from this summer and felt like it was time to share some of our haps! One of the best parts was that Robby the Aussie came to visit for a week before I started work in NYC. He may have been jet lagged during his whole trip, but he powered through it and we had a great time. Proof of our adventures below! Tim Tam Slamming (with milk). Brunch at Tom's, aka "The Seinfeld Diner".

Kate Relates: April 2012
http://katerelates.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Kate and (her) Rich. Monday, April 16, 2012. All I’ve ever wanted to be is exactly like my sisters. So much so that I started growing wheatgrass this spring for Easter. My sister Anne grows wheatgrass in multiple containers and uses it to decorate her house and hide her sons' Easter eggs. I’m somewhat lacking in both the decorating and children department, so I’ve been using mine to make smoothies. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Likes economics and jumping off things. Kate Relates: October 2012
http://katerelates.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Kate and (her) Rich. Thursday, October 25, 2012. I have an irrational fear of deer. Or so my husband tells me. I, however, think my fear is very much rational. My commute to and from school is 106 miles (round trip), four days a week. As the winter months are creeping closer, the roads are getting darker and darker. Have you ever driven I-81 south from Syracuse in a rainstorm at night? Are they enough to dissuade kamikaze deer from leaping in front of my car? What I-81 really needs is lights. Weekend Fac...
