Artists, musicians, bums, white collar, blue collar, passerbys, children and everyone else come together in one place. Sometimes, it creates something really special. The 8th Avenue station is home to little bronze statues in an exhibit called "Life Underground." Here are a few of the inhabitants: . The more I settle into day-to-day life here, the less there seems to post about. BUT here is a wrap up of what's been going on:. The virgins, but it was pretty hilarious. Overall the cast was awesome, especially Frankfurter. Last weekend and it was a big hit. I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun there this summer.

Thursday, September 10, 2009. Fashion Week Spring 2010 Day 1. I've said it once and I'll say it again: You just never know who you'll meet or where you'll end up during Fashion Week. After the show, there were several extra swag bags that people left in their seats, so I swiped one. It had so much awesome stuff in it! Check Sneaking into a show? Check Getting free stuff? Check And it's only Day 1! I'm still spinning from what an amazing night it was, and can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. Cant wait ...

Friday, September 25, 2009. The day the stars aligned. Hey folks - sorry about the delay! I knew this would take some time to write, so I wanted to wait till I had time to really think about it. Tuesday of last week, the day before Fashion Week ended, all the stars aligned. Be aware - this is a very long post! Once inside, we went straight to the check-in table. I was fully expecting to be turned away when we said our names, but we weren't! We were on the list! At around 10:15, they finally let us in!

Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Over the winter months, New Yorkers looked anything but fashionable. Big bubble coats that went down to the floor, hats, gloves, long underwear. Etc left much to be desired. But now the sun has come out and the coats have come off, and there are more colorful sundresses in the streets than colorful flowers in Central Park. Monday, August 31, 2009. This past weekend can only be described as perfect. Then on Saturday we went to our friends' Josh and Leighann's birthday/housewarming party.
