Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Kicking Off the 2010 Season! I'm so excited to get the season going! We had an amazing time last year hiking and kayaking/canoeing together. Getting outdoors is a true passion of mine. Sometimes over the cold weather months, I can't take it anymore and have to bundle up and get outside. (Check out my blog post. Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Rainbow Falls - Scenery out the wazoo! Rainbow Falls is one of my favorite hikes in the park. The beautiful mossy green rocks, lush overhanging trees, and the rushing waters of LeConte Creek alongside the trail all contribute to put this hike in my top 10 list. Friday, November 13, 2009. What a beautiful day for a canoe trip! We couldn't have had a better day to be on the water. I've paddled down the French Broad several times, and I always notice something new every time. This time had to be the beautiful fall colors spotted along the water. I forget how much I love the water until I jump into a canoe or kayak. Something very calming about it. And it's always good to spend time with friends and family. Can't wait to take another trip!
