We are a small family run Care Home in Kenley, Surrey., catering for elderly people who may feel that they are no longer in a position to care for themselves in their own home environment, or for those people who may just feel that they have reached a time in their lives when they would like to be given a little extra care and attention.

At Hollybank we provide a wide range of activities and entertainment. An activities board is posted each month in the dining room. Entertainment includes a monthly mobile disco (singing and dancing to music from the 30's, 40's and 50's). A range of singers and musicians, these include (Touche' , 'The Melodians', 'Simon and Beth', and 'the Mozart Players'. Weekly sessions of 'Total fitness', which is an exercise and activities class.

At Hollybank the staff are asked to remember that every resident has the right to expect both their privacy and their independance, this means that as far as personal care is concerned we encourage the residents to do as much for themselves as possible, whilst having care staff to assist in areas where attention may be necessary. We are visited regularly by the hairdresser, chiropodist, optician and dentist for the convenience of the residents.

Both the proprietor and Manager are available during working hours, Monday to Friday for consultation, and at other times the Manager is available by appointment. There is always a senior member of staff in charge of each shift and there are care staff to take care of the reisdents at all times during the day and night. The residents are all registered with a local G.P. practice of their choice, so that a doctor will always be available to visit should a resident become unwell.

All meals, snacks and drinks are included inour fees, and these will be served according to the wishes of the resident. A 24hr room service is available. A daily menu is posted in the dining room, with a variety of meals available at all meal times. Specialist diets which include diabetic, ethnic and vegetarian meals can be catered for at prior arrangement.
