Friday, April 23, 2010. Big shots tournament in Clemson SC. I'm excited about leaving tomorrow morning and taking 14 young men down to Clemson University to play ball in front of some talent evaluators and potentially recruiters. It's exciting because it is a step toward the dreams of some of these young men. Every weekend we go away I have a theme for the entire weekend. this weekend it will be "GO FOR IT! Pray for these young men with me as they pursue some of their dream. The law of compensation.

I have been challenged to rethink some of the ways I consider God and what I really believe about Him. Today's message was no exception. Francis Chan spoke to us on the theme "God is Strong! Here were our challenges. 1 Buy a bag of non-perishable groceries and go to the exit ramp at South Saunders and I-40. Wait until you find someone there or near that area in need and give the groceries away. 2 Buy some donuts or make something at home. Deliver it to the fire station at 1695 Timber Drive. Sunday, September 27, 2009. We started studying Ephesians tonight. I really enjoyed the discussion and interaction. We had a great conversation about grace and some of the monuments or memorials of grace in our lives. God always comes through! Instead, immense in mercy and with an incredible love, he embraced us. He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ. He did all this on his own, with no help from us! Season is about to begin. Reunions with great people. Baseball brings back memories.
