Inviting you to be a passenger in my voyage from illness to health and wholeness. Tuesday, August 26, 2008. This link is from my friend Cindy. Http:/ www.yourlifestylecenter.com/articles/a cry/a cry for cooperation.html. It is a good article about managing/coping with the disease, in the author's case: breast cancer. Friday, August 22, 2008. This new hypnotherapist was amazing! Something new this week too: I've been going to the beautiful Our Lady of Lourdes or Church of Our Lady to pray and sit quietly&...

Inviting you to be a passenger in my voyage from illness to health and wholeness. Monday, December 15, 2008. Keeping on keeping on. Sometimes it feels as if there is just a stasis, and that I'm not getting past resentments and I'm not hopeful enough or there's a right way to do things and I've taken a left turn. This morning I feel like I need to be guided out of a welling funk. It's possible that I'm letting my mind wander, and it's also possible that I'm experiencing fear. Friday, December 12, 2008.

The second pic. is Santo Domingo, the capitol city of D.R. Third: Our room we "lucked" into because there are no elevators and my mother-in-law has a bad knee, so we switched rooms sight unseen. Inviting you to be a passenger in my voyage from illness to health and wholeness. Saturday, January 3, 2009. A hopeful new outlook devloping. I've been keeping a giant journal of sorts, and for January I've done a review of December. My hope is to become busier with meaningful activity, and perhaps purposeful work. I have just finished the last cycle of this chemo, which has been doing a great trick, and after an up-coming heart test we'll figure out the next step. What has amazed me the whole way along,...

Inviting you to be a passenger in my voyage from illness to health and wholeness. Monday, October 27, 2008. From Viktor Frankl's book, Man's Search for Meaning. Viktor Frankl survived imprisonment in a concentration camp during the holocaust. He established a school of psychological thought termed Logotherapy from his experiences both before and during this time. This really is a stellar book. To live for can bear almost any. It did not really matter what we expected, but rather what life expected from us.

Inviting you to be a passenger in my voyage from illness to health and wholeness. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. It is disheartening to hear this news, for yourself and Mike more than anyone of course. Your recovery is still in my thoughts and prayers daily. I understand needing to keep your foot on the gas. Inviting you to be a passenger in my voyage from illness to health and wholeness. Friday, May 30, 2008. Instead of taking my new medication (temodol - chemo med) every 24 hours and my anti-nausea med every 12 hrs. I've taken both drugs every 12 hours. I'll continue to take as prescribed now. Even the mosquitoes didn't bite me last night. Thursday, May 29, 2008. Day after the appointment day. Wednesday, May 28, 2008. What's up the night of the appointment day.
