I just wanted to write an entry about how we neglected our student over the last couple of days, but finding the right header for this entry has proven difficult – which of the above is correct for what I want to express? It might not be as much as she is used to from Ohio, but for our part of Germany, it is quite a lot. Erin spent the holidays abroad with friends and came back “home” yesterday. She said she actually missed speaking German, which I think is great, as it shows that she has definitely made the language her own. A big “Thank you” to Erin’s family for this.
