Welcome to HS2020, where looking backwards is always clearer. Tuesday, March 20, 2007. Well the federal budget came out yesterday and it was pretty ho-hum. Nothing really big. On the negative side, it looks like any hope that was left out there about the changes to the new tax laws governing income trusts are all gone. Also, the highly anticipated changes to the capital gains tax did not happen. On the plus side, some of the changes that should benefit me are:. 1 2000 dollar tax credit for children.

Tomorrow morning, we pick up Alexis at the orphanage, gather all our necessary paperwork and head back to Kiev. We have a car and driver taking us there and will probably arrive sometime around midnight.
