關於最近台灣風起雲湧的學運，身在米國沒有辦法出力，有點小小的遺憾跟慚愧。我能做的，只有盡量在網路上散佈相關資訊. 有人認為我是反服貿的。但其實我對所有政策一直是傾向支持自由化，政府管得越少越好。我也一貫支持台、中兩國國民的交流。我反對的，是政府破壞民主與侵害台灣主體性的行為。 還有，「懷疑政府」是我個人信仰的核心價值之一，所以請不要再問我為何不相信政府。 我不是經貿專業，說實在這些東西通過之後到底對台灣的產業有沒有好處，我也不懂。 但我知道，這是一個影響面深遠也很複雜的問題，看了網路上這樣多的資料，除了政府的文宣台詞，很少人能有個確切的答案。 不過，如果這政策是如政府所說的美好，那這樣讚的東西為何無法說服人， 還要偷偷摸摸地規避審查，我想該多檢討的不會、也不該是老百姓。我們大有為的政府施政至今，跳票的承諾太多，讓民眾對施政有著嚴重的不信任感，這才是讓學運蔓延到整個社會的最重要原因。 或者應該說，被大有為政府騙那麼久、那麼多次了，還會去相信它的，我想大概是另有隱情吧？ 因為剛好前一陣子被米國政府發的簽證弄到有點死去活來，所以對這「 附件一. 訂閱： 張貼留言 (Atom).

有網友問到這篇老文的下落。這篇本已隨舊站消滅了，雖然我找出了備份，但並不確定跟原本的是一樣的，所以各位加減看看啦。 常常會舉出某些醫典裏的句子，然後就嘲笑西醫說，這麼簡單的道理也不懂，我看我也可以拿諾貝爾醫學獎之類的.BlahBlahBlah。 這樣的態度有甚麼問題，我等一下再說。先講第二個例子。 國中數學的幾何，會學到所謂的「畢氏定理」。我那時讀的課本，還會把「畢氏定理」稱作「商高定理」。 事實上，這個定理根本不能被稱作「商高定理」。從這個名稱本身，就可以看出缺乏科學態度的事實。 你知道為什麼不能叫做「商高定理」嗎？ 所謂的「定理」或「定律」，或所謂科學的概念，都架構在客觀且符合邏輯推論的一套系統上。對於一個假說，必須通過層層的檢證，才能成為學說。學說再經過更嚴謹的層層檢證，才會成為定理、定律。 關於畢氏定理，最大的關鍵就在於，人家畢老有「證明」它，而且留下文字記錄。 比方說，天氣冷會容易感冒，為什麼？ 台灣，或者說華人世界，這類科學的態度並沒有被普遍地養成。面對像畢氏定理這樣基礎原則的命名，都還要用民族主義的心態矇混過去，就跟中醫...訂閱： 張貼留言 (Atom).

我這輩子第一次聽到「自由基」這個名詞，是從一個作直銷的朋友那裏聽來的。 那時只覺得，這「自由基」會傷皮膚、傷肝、傷腎、造成老化.真是個萬惡之源啊！ 沒想到不久之後，自由基這名詞漸漸開始變得人人琅琅上口，各種廣告、文宣品都充斥著這自由基。更不用提那些「養生大師」們了。在他們所推銷的概念或商品裏，「抗自由基」這項功能也常如雷貫耳。 和自由基這名詞連在一起的，則是「氧化」這個感覺起來好像比較容易理解的名詞。自然地，養生大師們也是鼓吹「抗氧化」的. 先講在前頭這篇不是要說植化素沒用，我也認同「攝取蔬果裡的植化素可能對人身體健康有幫助」這樣的觀點。只是，很多所謂養生專家得到上述結論的過程，我就不免有些意見了。 已經不太記得，是從什麼時候開始聽到植化素這個名詞。但我記得，那時聽到這名詞的第一個反應，不是驚嘆這東西的神奇作用，而是「這名字聽起來好像是新的，到底是從什麼東西翻譯過來的？」. 在古時候可是被視為「脫亞入歐」的象徵來加以大力歌頌的營養補給品啊. 沒想到風水輪流轉，現在卻也成為不少「養生大師」們追打的對象了。 簡而言之就是：人云亦云、胡說八道。 訂閱： 文章 (Atom).
