Saturday, April 30, 2005. Count down to Gambia : 15 hours 17 minutes. I have to admit that this is by far the craziest thing I HAVE EVER DONE. And for those of you who know me, I have done some pretty weird stuff, but this takes the cake. Going to Africa for seven weeks with people that I’ve met twice, and having never been off the contenent is leaving me a little nervous. Tuesday, August 09, 2005. Two posts in two days? So I didn’t post for the entire month of July sorry guys. It’s been a totally crazy summer. I have been away for the majority of the summer, but I only have two more trips planned before school starts. In the car, plus being in a totally new environment I got so much perspective on life. Wednesday, June 20, 2007. I was mugged on Saturday in The Gambia and had my passport stolen. I barely made it on to my flight back to the UK with an emergency passport (20 minutes to spare) and am trying to get papers to get back in to Canada in time for my flight, but the office closes soon.
