My name is Daniel, from Mexicali Baja California, I’m 23 years old and it has been 12 years since I became a Christian. I grew up without the support of a father because my dad died when I was a young child. Thanks to my Mom’s effort, I got to know my heavenly father since I was 5 years of age when we started going to the church. My goal in the church is to be a good example, to help the brethren, and to be a good minister.

Unlike members of many other immigrant groups, most 2nd and 3rd generation Mexican Americans have not given up their native language. Both English and Spanish are spoken in over 70% of Mexican American households. It’s good stewardship because it’s effective. It’s obedient to the commission we have been given (Mark 16:15).

The Latin American Bible Institute of Mexicali is the next step to realizing a dream, which is. To take the Gospel to the entire Spanish-speaking community in the Americas. The dream started with brother Cline Paden back in 1962, when he returned from the mission field and established the Latin American Bible School in Lubbock, Texas. In 1962 Cline Paden established a preachers training school. (The first class had 6 students). In 1969 175 students annually. In 1980 The school had 300 students annually.
