Don't take any of it too seriously. Confessions of an idle mind. Thought for the day, with Brother Andrew Cleary. This morning, I was talking to one of my parishioners, and used the expression “a cautionary tale”. When I said it, it echoed back in my mind as “a Sean Connery tale”. And you know, I thought to myself “that’s a lot like life”. A weekend without booze. SOME OLD KILN THING! I MADE A MAP OF THE WORLD OUT OF DOMINO FRIDGE MAGNETS! Don't take any of it too seriously. Confessions of an idle mind. Hi there, I’m Andy. After dabbling with varying degrees of success in creative writing over the years, I am resolving to take it a lot more seriously from 2011 onwards, and here is where I will be splurging out whatever form that “creativity” takes. Enjoy…please. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Address never made public). Notify me of new comments via email.

Talking to the Wall: March 2006
http://shazrazzamatazz.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Talking to the Wall. Northern blether, music and knitting. Thursday, March 16, 2006. Soundtrack: Gorky's Zygotic Mynci - Barafundle. On the train this morning Giles - the Leach-Allott term for the Blackberry-wielding commuter genus - was not only shouting down his Blackberry, but also had his other mobile phone glued to his spare ear. He'd hang up the Blackberry, start on the mobile, and then scroll his Blackberry for the next number to call immediately after. After 5stops the commuters started to attack.

Talking to the Wall. Northern blether, music and knitting. Monday, January 31, 2011. Christmas in Littleborough, 2010. I usually find Christmas quite stressful - who to spend it with, Rochdale or Windsor, Thom or family. This year we spent it with my mum and it was a breeze - why can't every Christmas be like this? A highlight was a Christmas Eve walk with my mum, sister and brother-in-law. You might remember the crazy snow. It was so bloody brassic. Up north that even the waterways were frozen over.

Talking to the Wall. Northern blether, music and knitting. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. In Design Technology we're making 'money containers' (that's a non gender-specific purse, to you and me). Who knew that children these days don't know how to sew? Just 3 out of 20 kids could thread a needle, nevermind attempt a running stitch. When I was their age. I was glued to my embroidery and tapestry sets. Aw man, Miss is a professional. Yes My purse is well sik. Not bad for a half hour job. A layer of chips.

Don't take any of it too seriously. Confessions of an idle mind. I promise I’m not making up a work of this. Overheard, while in the queue at Sainsbury’s, Mortimer Street. 8220;yeah, use mine, mate.
