Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Blaise's Happy FIRST Birthday! It's my happy first birthday! Enjoy some picture from my fun day! After sleeping in until 7:30, we all enjoyed a delicious pancake breakfast made by daddy, who was able to take the day off! Blaise got his own personal "one" pancake. Still a little sleepy. OK, I think I like this. And I like balloons! Oh yes, I love whole grains! We're trying hard to expand his palate! After breakfast, we raced out the door and headed for the Zoo! Playing on the car...

Cut Out All the Ropes and Let Me Fall. Friday, February 1, 2013. Friday at 4:59 PM. Tears will flow, I'll beat myself, but I'm too proud to ever change.". This is from a good song I know. Sometimes it is how I feel about my behavior. I regret things so much, and mourn over what I have done, but I don't so much change or get better. Not always. Sometimes I do great. I was just thinking about the times I don't do great whilst listening to this little ditty. This makes me sound sadder than I am.

Sunday, March 15, 2009. Blaise is eight months old and he’s on the move! He’s not crawling, per say, but he’s busy “scooting” around! He pulls himself forward with his hands-dragging them across the floor. Drawers are one of his favorite destinations-pulling them in and out is so much fun! I need to go buy some baby proof locks for them! We feel bad when he works so hard to get somewhere and we have to remove the object from him (or him from the object! And climbing up on his jungle play mat. Mmmmm peas ...

Based on the title "Postcards from the Edge" but I don't exactly live on the edge. Tuesday, June 22, 2010. The four-legged pot scrubber. Let's say you've had a long day of work. You get home, actually manage to cook dinner, (a rare accomplishment) and after enjoying said dinner, you are wiped out. Your husband, who is usually a champ about helping with the dishes, has fled to CVS to fill a prescription for steroids since he has a raging case of poison ivy. What's a girl to do? She'll have it spotless.
