Kisses of Sunshine: February 2010
http://kissesofsunshine.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 26, 2010. Resting in God's Care. These past few months have been stressful, to say the least. Despite the fact that I "KNOW" God is in control and knows where we're at, stress and depression still have a way of sneaking in and robbing me of joy, peace, and a sense of security. I'm so thankful that God puts the right people in our paths when we need them for comfort and strength! 1 God is a safe place to hide, helping me when we need him. I'm telling you, I needed that. Kisses of Sunshine: Screams of Spring
http://kissesofsunshine.blogspot.com/2014/04/screams-of-spring.html
Tuesday, April 01, 2014. I love spring. The trees are budding, the grass is turning green, the flowers are starting to pop their beautiful petals out, and the birds are . screaming. Not just "screaming," but "SCREAMING.". Each year, we have the same problem. Birds sneak their way into our vents, make their nests, have babies, and scream their heads off. It literally sounds like a woman screaming. And its behind our microwave. So gross. I give it three months. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Infertile,...

Friday, November 27, 2009. Black Friday Pouting Session. As I mentioned earlier in the week. I got laid off last week. Along with so many OTHER changes that loosing a job will create, I also loose my company lap top. So, in order to be able to continue being mobile, I woke up this morning at 4:15 so that I could get to WalMart by 4:45 in order to get in line for a laptop. And wouldn't you know. The laptop that was on sale that started at FIVE AM was sold out at THREE AM. Links to this post. There is so m...

Kisses of Sunshine: Home is: Cooking with Leftovers
http://kissesofsunshine.blogspot.com/2010/04/home-is-cooking-with-leftovers.html
Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Home is: Cooking with Leftovers. Today I'm linking up with my sweet friend Sandy at Reluctant Entertainer. On her weekly Home Is. Today she's featuring cooking with leftovers. Head on over to get other yummy leftover tips. We don't usually eat leftovers for dinner throughout the week, because my husband always packs leftovers for lunch. Here's the "food" part we usually put in it:. Rice (white or brown, or Jasmine). Chopped onion (any kind: white, yellow, red, spring, etc).

Kisses of Sunshine: October 2012
http://kissesofsunshine.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 26, 2012. Yes, I'm guilty of bad parenting. I allow my 7 year old son to almost fall asleep in our bed, then I walk him to his bedroom and tuck a drowsy little boy in bed for the night. It's either that, or I'm getting up every five minutes to reassure his irrational fears and answer a myriad of questions from a scared little boy, like: are the windows locked? Are the doors locked? Is the garage closed? Is the house safe? I was recently diagnosed with lupus, among a bunch of other things,...

Kisses of Sunshine: October 2009
http://kissesofsunshine.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 20, 2009. I am so excited. I'm getting ready to start a new Bible study, and I can't wait to dive in! It's an inductive study by Kay Arthur, and if anyone else is interested, it is called Opening the Windows of Blessing. A study of Haggai, Zachariah and Malachi. I'd love to hear your feed back if you begin studying this book, and I want to know how God is blessing you through this study! And you can be assured that I'll be sharing my own opinions! Kisses of Sunshine: Spring has sprung!
http://kissesofsunshine.blogspot.com/2014/04/spring-has-sprung.html
Friday, April 11, 2014. I love spring. Who doesn't? I know allergies are high, pollen counts are crazy, and sneezing and runny noses are just another every day thing. And yet, everyone is itching to go outside and celebrate the awesome weather. Another tradition was receiving the spun sugar eggs with the panoramic scenes in them. My grandmother had a friend that would make them for us. We would never eat them, just look at them like treasures that children conjure up. I could only find a smal...Welcome t...
