All About Ansel and Amalia. Monday, January 17, 2011. Amalia has learned to pull herself to standing and cruise along furniture this week. She has also figured out how to go from crawling to sitting up. Her crib is in our bedroom and in the morning when she wakes up, she stands up and makes all kinds of happy noises while staring at us. All About Ansel and Amalia. Monday, February 21, 2011. I decided that Ansel should have a kitchen to play with. He had a few kitchen items - play food, mini rolling pin. So Ansel and I bought some accessories at Urban Ore (recycled goods warehouse) and Jeremy bought some wood and made the design. It turned out well and Ansel has made lots of meals on it already! All About Ansel and Amalia. Friday, February 15, 2013. New Year's Day Family Hike at Sibley. It was VERY cold. Kids finding their way out of the maze. Ansel found the mud puddles. Beautiful day at the Lawrence Hall of Science. Ansel made a motorized Lego car and ran it on the ramps. Amalia chose to build a tower. Grandma came to visit in January. We went to the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito. Ansel being a good big brother at the playground. Kids playing movie theater with a blanket and the iPad.
