September 8, 2015. In November 2013 I joined 25 other enthusiastic IWEN Canada. Volunteers on a build trip in one of thee most rural and impoverished regions of Nepal. While there, we completed construction on a school and started digging the footings for a women’s vocational centre, Unako House (a women’s vocational centre which translates into “it’s hers”).
