I Will Beat Cancer – Randy B. Day Three and a Diagnosis. Home From the Hospital and Doing Ok. Yesterday I was able to come home from the hospital. The night before I stopped taking the morphine and was put on percocet for my pain. It was painful to cut the morphine but worth it so I could work towards going home. My wife brought the kids up for lunch and we were able to spend sometime together. I have been missing them all quite a bit and it has only been one day! For my wife and our families. My sweet wife sat up with me for an hour with a hot pad on my back and comforted me. I finally broke down and took some Tylenol with codeine and was able to sleep for a few more hours. I appreciate it. Last week I had a CT scan for the blood clots in my lungs. The doc said that they look like they have cleared up so that is good news.
