We hadn't ever been there, but Jonathan heard there was good fishing.that's reason to go anywhere as far as he's concerned! We spent some time at Elbow Falls. The Avery’s of Pullman were in Laos, and The Kings of Vancouver and Oakland had other plans as well, so it was just Grammy and Papa, and us. There was a lot of ping pong. Papa and Silas shot some hoops downstairs. We put a puzzle together. And when we got a chance, we took some walks. Silas, ready to bake cookies! Does everyone else's kids beg to go bowling, but once we are actually there, they don't seem that into it? For Thanksgiving we went up north to spend the holiday with the hubby's family. We went to Lake Nicaragua and stayed on the beautiful island, Ometepe. Side note: Lake Nicaragua is known for its freshwater sharks. eek! The ride there was an adventure on this so called "ferry". It looked like something made in a junkyard. Notice how I am holding on for dear life. The snake that joined us. We went on a beautiful hike up the Maderas volcano.
