Mittenwald your a Beauty. I always wanted to visit a Bavarian Village and I was told that Mittenwald, Germany is the "quintessential" picture book Bavarian village surrounded by mountains. I wanted to experience the beauty and atmosphere of true Bavaria so I decided to spend a few days in Mittenwald and I was not disappointed. Mittenwald is only a 2 hour train ride from Munich and I had booked a 4 night stay at a family run guesthouse called Garni Edlhuber. Let the fun begin.

Berlin how much can I see of you? The first place I went to in Berlin was the Topography of Terror exhibit. This exhibit is held at the former Gestapo headquarters. The outside part of the exhibit is an area of dug up torture cells and the main grounds is an indoor museum exhibiting many exhibits about the terrible regime. It took about 3 hours to see everything. The next day I took the Third Reich Bike Tour by Fat Tire Bike Tours. If you have a lot of interest in World War 2 then Berlin is the city.
