May God give you of heaven's dew and of earth's richness" (Genesis 27:28). Tuesday, March 29, 2011. The harshness of winter robs the woodlands of their beauty. But the roots of the trees and shrubs are well established. Soon their branches will be bursting forth with green leaves and new life. Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving" (Colossians 2:6-7). May God give you of heaven's dew and of earth's richness" (Genesis 27:28). Tuesday, May 24, 2011. While driving along a country road, I paused to admire these cattle who were taking a rest from the hot afternoon sun. God has prepared a rest for His children- an eternal, peaceful rest from the labors and burdens of this life. Like livestock that go down into the valley, the Spirit of the LORD gave them rest. So you led your people, to make for yourself a glorious name" (Isaiah 63:14). One Nation Under God.
