Our adventurous weekend last week ended with a trip to the farmer’s market. when i first moved to SLC i went almost every saturday because i was so enchanted by it, but last summer i never went – not even once! Wedding planning and being engaged got the best of my time, but this past weekend we finally got to hit it up once more. It was from the frida bistro. Cooking with fresh produce is always more fun. oh holli: October 2013
http://ohholli.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 24, 2013. Rose and I were in Arizona visiting family for about 4 days (5 nights) last week. Unfortunately Jacob was not able to come with us because of school obligations, but we were able to Skype with him every day. When we arrived back in Utah, I found these screenshots from our Skype sessions on the Macbook. Rose has Skyped with her dad a few times before when we've been apart, but this time she seemed to have an actual sense of what was going on —. Saturday, October 12, 2013.

oh holli: June 2013
http://ohholli.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 19, 2013. Watching these videos for the first time (weeks after they were taken) hit me like a sentimental TON OF BRICKS. Is is possible that I'm already feeling nostalgic mommy-remorse for not fully appreciating how precious those first days with my newborn were? It's definitely possible —. It's incredible (and scary). How quickly these wild mama emotions start taking hold. Still, I was able to catch myself before any actual guilt set in. A nice strong cry! Rose in the hospital —. Monday...

Giddy in the city. Just trying to be good at life and documenting it. SLC, UT. Where: you see the fourth of july, continued. July 10, 2013. The magic continued on the fourth of july when we came home that night to have a BBQ with our ward friends the Swindles and Obas. We like them a lot. Since David spends so much time studying, we usually spend our limited hangout time with my old roommates or our family, but we love making new friends! I think maybe he should give up school and start a music career.

oh holli: San Antonio
http://ohholli.blogspot.com/2013/09/san-antonio.html
Thursday, September 19, 2013. On the drive back from South Padre, we made a spontaneous stop in San Antonio to check out the Alamo, the River Walk, and to give Rose a breather from her carseat. Basically, our attempt to do San Antonio in 45 minutes. I still wonder if Pee Wee's bike in somewhere in the basement. Rose among the great legends of Texas. Ehwhatever. I'm thirsty.". Which is always a good thing. We made one more stop on our way back home after leaving SA —. What a fun experience you have had in...
