My name is Jane Tyrer. I currently work as a counsellor in Westmere, Auckland with individuals and couples. I enjoy supporting people to navigate their way through difficulties, clarify values and strengths and find enthusiasm for new possibilities. I live in the Waitakere ranges with my partner and our two sons. When I'm not working I spend time with friends and family, walk in the bush, head to our local beaches, read and listen to music. Photography has always been a part of my life. As a child, I enjoyed taking pictures of my siblings, my hamster and my grandfather's dogs. In my twenties, I enjoyed photographing staff events at work. It wasn't until 2008, when I purchased my first SLR a Nikon D60 - that my love of photography was reignited in a big way. Over the years, I have learned a lot and have grown as a photographer. My equipment has increased in value but the passion I have for photography is still there and continues to grow.
