I am missing a big weekend – our trip to Hahira for the Honeybee Festival, but those pics are on Trav’s fancy new IMac computer that I don’t quite know how to operate yet – I’m a Windows girl. Who writes this blog anyway? Who writes this blog anyway? My husband, Richard, and I moved to Augusta in 2007 when he started medical school (career #3). One short year later we found out we were having (gasp! On July 2 and 3, 2009 I delivered (the good ole fashioned way) Mercer Anne and Woodson. Yes, they have two different birthdays. Monday, February 9, 2015. One week ago today, at this exact same time, I was sitting in the pre-op room waiting for the nurses to come and take my son to surgery. I am so thankful that last week is over.so thankful that we are where we are today.so thankful for God's goodness and provision and love. Dayne went to church yesterday! It was amazing to watch him! He is sore this morning, but still has such a positive attitude! However, we can do ALL things through HIM who gives us strength (Phil. 4:13).

Sunday, May 10, 2015. Being a Mother is the greatest honor that I have ever been bestowed. To be able to give life and watch it grow, shepard and nourish little souls.it doesn't get better than that! It is the hardest things I've ever done, and the most fulfilling all at once. Children see your love and all your flaws all at once. I pray they grow up to think that I didn't mess up too bad. It's humbling, exausting, and the most wonderful thing in the world! I love being a Mama! Bubba- The Big Brother.
