Adoption Process and Cost. Application Fee $250 Done. Home Study $1800.00 Done. Child Abuse Clearance: $80.00 Done. For Jay, Jan and MB (3 each for 9 total at $18.00 each):. US Citizen and Immingration Services-USCIS i600a Application for Advance Processing of Orphan Petition: $720.00. Adoption Fee: $18,000 - I will beak this down later. First Payment $5000.00 Done. BUT considering it is the holidays and the mail takes a great deal longer to get here to an APO address. It is hard to tell when it will get here.
