Friday, April 8, 2011. Mama Said There'd Be Days Like This. Yes, I guess it's true that all of us have bad days- even 1 year olds. Last night consisted of head butts to the nose only to have it beed all over mom's bed (and it was mom's nose bleeding from Jack's wild tossing and turning), movies at 1am, three bottles to finally get Jack to sleep at 3:00am! Friday, September 30, 2011. And the next bit of news that we also had delivered to us this week are our new orders for Washington DC! Yep, we'll be heading out to the Pentagon on November 1st. These orders came very fast and we are sad to say goodbye to good friends and good weather, but the opportunity is amazing for Jared. He will be working with the Admiral at the Pentagon and will be the Admiral's executive assistant and director for administration. September 30, 2011 at 4:42 PM. That is so fun!

Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Family Fun in Florida. Yes, we are back in Florida. This makes two drips to the magical Disney state before Jack even turns two. Wish he could remember these fun times we are having. A few pictures will have to prove that we did take him on vacation:). The best part about the trip really is being with all my brothers and sisters and parents in one place now that we are all scattered. We had a church egg hunt (more like an egg race) yesterday and then hid our eggs in the yard today. I realized that I enjoy the actual egg hunts much more than the egg races. Maybe the egg races seem a bit too greedy/competitive. The kids had a good time regardless. Manburger's Birthday and Bluebonnets. Saturday, November 15, 2014. We had a very relaxing, low key Halloween this year. We went to a pumpkin farm in Winnie, TX the weekend before Halloween. It had a hay ride, face painting, pumpkin bowling, corn maze, a big slide, and a big swing. It is a much smaller scale pumpkin farm than the ones that we went to in Virginia but the girls had a great time regardless. Both girls wanted unicorn face paintings - two years in a row. I'm the queen of the tire tower! Decorating cookies at her school party.
