Then we went to the visitors center and learned that they are all ancient from the Freemont Native Americans. Luke getting a better view of some of the petrogylphs. Blaise with my Dad, so sweet. 20 Falls: May 2009

http://melissa-nathan.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html

Tuesday, May 26, 2009. We went to Clifton for Memorial Day. It is absolutely beautiful there. Very lush and green. Nathan said it reminded him of Ireland. I loved it! We left Sunday right after church and enjoyed a meal with my parents. It was rainy and overcast and quite breathtaking. We helped Grandpa move the pipe on the park lawn (didn't need watering, but he had water so went for it). We sat out on the porch and watched the rain and clouds come down the mountain. What a great weekend! We had Brycen'...

20 Falls: August 2009

http://melissa-nathan.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html

Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Next "what we did for our Summer Vacation". We headed to Spanish Fork for the weekend. Our first stop The Golden Spike National Monument, where the East met the West. Location, out in the middle of nowhere. Near a place where rockets are made and top secret stuff like that. But, the kids (especially Corbin) loved seeing the trains. They fired them up and let them run. Corbs was in train heaven! Corbin in ahhh as the trains fire up! Watch out John Wayne, here comes Cowboy Tanner!

a day in the life of a cowboy's wife and all other tales: November 2009

http://mtpostfam.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

Sunday, November 8, 2009. It is Sunday FUnDaY as my friend Karen calls it. I, of course as usual, am drawing a blank as I sit down to FINALLY write more on the family blog. Momma bear gave me a hard time on the phone the other day because I haven't updated in awhile. As I logged on to do this, I just checked hers and her family entry is even older than my last.go figure! Oliver and his friends, JP and Dominic on the first day of school. Mark is my baby brother :). First day of school. I am who I am.

a day in the life of a cowboy's wife and all other tales: My Friend Monique

http://mtpostfam.blogspot.com/2009/01/my-friend-monique.html

Monday, January 19, 2009. I briefly met Monique in Tucson, Az at a mutual friend's wedding shower some seven or eight years ago. We moved to Missoula a few years after that shower and within a month or so, Monique moved into town with her awesome family! Monique you are awesome! What a beautiful "ode to monique"! Now you just need to pay it forward and teach me how to get the awesome deals you found! January 19, 2009 at 4:44 PM. Ditto on the "paying it forward" I would love to have you share your secrets!

a day in the life of a cowboy's wife and all other tales: June 2009

http://mtpostfam.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html

Sunday, June 7, 2009. A few pet peeves (one of them is that term). I wrote this blog months ago and never posted it. I am laughing now, but what the heck, I am posting it. I am not a grumpy or moody person (sorry if you feel differently about me). However, there are a few things that BUG me. Here are a few of the ones on the top of my list:. I had to throw in a picture for fun, so I found this one to go along with the Peeve theme: Shoeing horses in my garage. Come on! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

a day in the life of a cowboy's wife and all other tales: December 2008

http://mtpostfam.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

Sunday, December 7, 2008. Oliver was pretty funny, he couldn't wait to go, but within a half an hour he says, "can't we just cut one down already? Dillon loves to get in the backpack and hike. He kept saying, "big hike," and "there's a trail.". Ethan is getting older every minute and can't decide if he is still a kid or more responsible than both Del and I. He was worried we'd get in trouble for cutting down the wrong tree. Earlier this week, our stockings came in the mail. It was so funny! I am who I am.

20 Falls: April 2010

http://melissa-nathan.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Monday, April 12, 2010. Hi, it is me again and my trip! I failed to show a picture of Nathan in his awesome poncho! So so wet. Such a different rain then our dry desert! Loved it, just not so much after I got soaked through. Little more about the capitol building. The painting inside the rotunda was awesome! It appeared so 3D! Little fact, it took 3 diff. Erent artists to finish this painting. The first fell to his death while painting it. The Korean Memorial took me away deep in thought. First we wa...

http://melissa-nathan.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Saturday, May 22, 2010. Who's driving this flying umbrella? Yes, I am here, sorry to have kept you all on pins and needles! How we spent our Saturday. Well, our 20-Falls was bitter windy cold. Miserable! But, I didn't let that stop me! I powered up and kicked my legs into gear and ran and ran. Training for a beasty 1/2 marathon. My ears have been aching and I have just felt cold all day from that chilly run. But, I ran and ran, 10.5 miles! Not bad for this chic-a-dee! I called them, our conversation:.

20 Falls: April 2009

http://melissa-nathan.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

Tuesday, April 28, 2009. We ventured down to the Falls on Friday. They were definitely going strong. To Corbin it was a first that he can remember. He loved it! Apparently cars were backed up for 1 hour and 1/2 to see the Falls, last weekend. The revenue it brought in for the City was $275,000, in just one weekend. Corbin would reach out and try to touch the water. Tanner tried to spit down to the water, but I am afraid it added mist to the people next to him.nice. Friday, April 17, 2009. I have left him...

African Update

See what's going on with me in Tanzania, Africa. Wednesday, February 4, 2009. Up on the Mountian. The song that explains my experiences and my love for Tanzania and it's people is best described in Steven Curtis Chapman’s song. I’m wanna build a house up on the mountain. Way up high where the peaceful waters flow to quench my thirsty soul, up on the mountain. I can see for miles upon this mountain. Troubles seem so small they almost disappear; Lord I love it here, up on the mountain. Almost every Friday ...

J.C. and Beki Olson

JC and Beki Olson. Wednesday, March 25, 2009. John Tyler's 2nd Birthday-the fake day! Opening up his presents! Posted by J.C. Olson Family. John Tyler's 2nd Birthday-the fake day! John Tyler's cake- he added the jeep thing himself after I put in his tractor and cows. Too bad it wasn't washed like the others. JC singing "Happy Birthday" opera style to get John Tyler to copy. He did. It was hilarious. Posted by J.C. Olson Family. John Tyler's 2nd Birthday-the real day! It made it sooo much easier for me!
