Elephant Volunteer Project & Islands | jenandpaddy
https://jenandpaddy.wordpress.com/2011/03/26/elephant-volunteer-project-islands
Just another WordPress.com site. Elephant Volunteer Project & Islands. Jenny’s post: I expect most people think travelling is all about dossing about and relaxing in various backpacker areas – this wasn’t the case for us last week! Was to be leading us which was a relief as you kind of forget how big elephants are! First job of the day was to clean the enclosure, so rakes and wheelbarrows were collected for picking up leftover banana plants and poo! The mahouts would cut the banana plants near the base a...

Just another WordPress.com site. 11 days of Cambodia. So after we had finished our time in Ho Chi Minh City we got a coach over the border to Cambodia to our first point of call, it’s capital Phnom Penh. The journey was uneventful and the border crossing trouble free which was all very good! There was also a tree there which was used to kill small children and babies – often the Khmer Rouge would kill a whole family including the children in order to avoid revenge killings when they’re older&...The next ...

Just another WordPress.com site. Best of Laos and some of Vietnam! So the day finally came when we were to leave Thailand for Laos. We had a bit of a job hunting down transport to take us there as the Songkran festival kind of messes things up a bit! So the next day we had a 5 minute longtail boat over the river just behind our hotel to the Laos border crossing which was quick and easy to get through apart from they spelt my name wrong on the visa so just tippexed it out which was a bit worrying! We were...

Just another WordPress.com site. Goodbye India… Hello Bangkok! Paddy’s Post;. We left you last time in Kochi and a lot has been done since! Our 1st day in Kochi was an interesting one, we decided to go sight seeing as there wasn’t much else to do. We have had a really good time in Bangkok so far and visited the Grand Palace and Floating Market which was so bus...

Jen and Oli on the loose...
Tuesday, August 17, 2010. It's been a while! Last we left off, we were in Zipolite, pool Oki was struck down by some bad papaya juice, and I was sipping beer by my lonesome. Oli did make it out to the beach for one last drink that night, but two sips in his tummy caught back and he was down for the count. I grabbed the check and we called it and early night. She did a gorgeous mosaic, as well as some fabulous art on the walls. Incredible! We then ventured to Acapulco for an evening on our way to Zihuaten...

Jen and Paper
Friday, June 14, 2013. About to head off to work, so thought I'd pop in for a quick (and I mean QUICK! I created this card for the current Ten Minute Craft Dash. I find these so fun… I'm kinda a little hooked ;) The colors this go-round were a buttery yellow, red, and light blue… Gotta admit that this one was a bit of a challenge for me…. So, I thought of the sage advice of my crafty friend, Melissa Shea. And channeled the words I've seen from her so many times: when stumped, go small! Sock It To Me!
