Around the end of 2011 I decided that I need to put my passport to use more often (Canada doesn’t count), then wound up going to Costa Rica with my brother in January, and Mexico in March for my best friend’s wedding. Very casual and fun from the beginning- who else do you know that would send a coconut as a wedding invitation? A humpback whale jumped out of the ocean as the bride approached her barefoot groom and I’m pretty sure I wasn’t the only one that teared up. Below are a few of my favorites from the day.
