Tuesday, May 12, 2015. I forgot to post this from two weekends ago. My bestie and I going for a jog at my favorite trail. Duck faces at the duck park. Seemed appropriate. Squinting in the sun. So. Much. Sun. My very tired face after going home. What better way to wrap up the day than. By baking chocolate chip cookies! Also, had quite a blast with Ally and her husband celebrating their new gorgeous home last Saturday evening. Got to meet her funny guitar playing brother too. :). Anyway. Have a lovely.

Thursday, March 26, 2015. At home getting ready for casual Thursday at work. I really should consider purchasing some clothes I don't drown in. I'm smiling because I've had my. It's also spa treatment day where I work, where we get one fun filled hour to have the treatment of our choice, which is much needed since fridays always end up being "kick our trash" days. The antique furniture delivery has been delayed, so hopefully by this weekend it will arrive to its new loving home! My Thoughts On 2015.

Monday, April 20, 2015. So I finally took that step, and got a weekend job in a rather lovely facility. They are so absolutely friendly to me, offering me to take days off whenever I want so that I don't burn out from working two jobs. So my full time job on the weekdays, then my weekend job. One of my favorite moments was when, a few years ago, one of my favorite people in the world who I have always deeply respected and admire, quite out of the blue followed me on Twitter and still continues to follow. This would be the great Egyptologist, archaeologist, and former Minister of Antiquities of Egypt, Dr. Zahi Hawass. Na heel veel fout doen en vele lessen volgen besloot ik zelf lessen te gaan geven. Eerst een aantal jaren aan vriendinnen. Uiteindelijk toch de stap gemaakt naar een eigen bedrijf. Thursday, December 14, 2017. The Shop Is Closed. I hope this finds you all well. I've been meaning to make this announcement for oh, over a year. My Jenny Bartoy Handmade business is closed. In 2016, I made the move to freelance editing and writing. Full-time and found I no longer had the time to sew for clients and to run my Etsy shop. I had so much fun making and selling handmade items for five years and I'm grateful to all the friends and customers who supported my business. Happy holidays to all!
