2011 Jewish Community Hero of the Year. Our congratulations to Randy Gold. Through Jewish Gene Screen, Randy and his family are working to spread awareness of Jewish Genetic Diseases and promote pre-natal screening. Their work has increased pre-natal screenings in their hometown of Atlanta by 400%. This year we received 239,804 votes for more than 300 Heroes - all of whom are doing work to repair the world. His passion, dedication and a mentorship to 1000s of Jewish students is remarkable and inspiring.
