Wednesday, October 24, 2007. A Boy and His Cars. For those of you who don't know, Sean won a huge contest at his last company wide meeting. He got $1000 to spend at Zumiez, a new long board, an expensive watch, a backpack with speakers built into the straps, gift cards to local stores (like the movie theater), and a few other little nick knacks. Friday, July 4, 2008. We've been looking for a dog for about three months. I should actually say that Sean and Brandon have been looking. We have taken countless trips to the local pound, looking for the dog that would fit our needs. We needed a small dog and one that would be good with Brandon. Saturday, April 5, 2008. We've had a fun and busy last couple of weeks. Easter was a great weekend. We started with a soccer game on Saturday morning, followed by an Easter egg hunt. Brandon found his five eggs quickly, so we rehid them many times to extend the fun. There was a news camera at our game from ABC news and filmed our team playing. The guy interviewed Brandon. He asked Brandon how he liked having his Mom as a coach and he said it's awesome! Don't go to the dark side of being a soccer mom!

Friday, November 28, 2008. I am still around, regardless of how often my blog gets updated. Lots of things have been going on. As you guys know, I graduated in May. I have been working as a Clinical Research Coordinator at HOPE Research Institute for the last 6 and a half months. I really enjoy my job! I work on clinical trials in phase II, III, or IV with family medicine physicians. I see patients and collect data for new medications under the supervision of the principle investigator. JD Sarah Brooke Nixon Claire. Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Well, I've been slacking on the blogging a lot lately and we've had a lot to post. First I need to post pictures from Nixon's birthday! Then 11 days later we welcomed a new member into our family, Claire Jane! She was born July 25th at about 8:55 in the morning. I say about because no one bothered to look at the clock to take the time of birth, except for JD who says it was 8:52, but nonetheless she is her! Bored out of their mind at the hospital.

Last week at Hobby Lobby they had tulle on sale for 77 cents a yard, so I decided that to make a tutu for Brooke. She was so excited and wanted to help me.
