Everything turned out pretty delicious actually. Today...

The writing of Usakos daily obsessions. Nov 23rd, 2011 at 10:55 AM. First man made meal. Originally uploaded by lilusako. I'm waiting on my thanksgiving left overs from the knitting clubs pot luck party to warm up in the microwave before I go shopping for ingredients. So I don't end up shopping hungry. Mom asked me to make the thanksgiving desserts before we even head up to the bay tonight - so I might be spending some time baking before I even make it out the door. David and I will be heading home to th...

The writing of Usakos daily obsessions. Week 6: William Walton - Orb and Sceptre. Feb 12th, 2012 at 10:58 PM. Well apparently I'm still not over English Composers yet. This piece opens up with an invitation from the trumpets into a lovely melody. Actually it almost sounds like the beginning to the ever so famous wedding processional. But perhaps it seems proper considering that this was written for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II on June 2nd, 1953. William Walton - Orb and Sceptre. End of the year.

Philharmonia Orchestra, Christopher Warren-Green, cond. Michael Thompson, horn. Haydn, oh Franz Joseph Haydn. You still continue to trip me up and I have a few moments of, "Is this Mozart?
