Jazz music, particularly improvisation, has always captivated me. Whether it’s a smooth blues piano solo, a strong swing beat feel from a big band, or an old jazz love vocal by Frank Sinatra, it’s music to my ears. What I love most about jazz is that it’s all about creating music. You have a set of chord changes and a simple melody line, but beyond that, the music is you. It’s what you create.
