Come join me in my kitchen as we cook, bake, and chat. Wednesday, April 29, 2015. We recently traveled to Tennessee to help our daughter and her husband move to Utah. So happy to have them closer to us! While we were there, we celebrated her birthday by going to dinner at their favorite BBQ place, Top Hog BBQ. In Gallatin, TN. It was a delightful, homey place and the food was plentiful and delicious! So much fun to try different foods! I sampled my daughters Deep Fried Catfish - so moist and delicious!

Monday, January 26, 2015. On Friday we went to the library for a castle program. They told stories and sang songs about things that happen in a castle and the kids got to dress up like they were going to the castle. Carter, with the help of his dad and Gandpa Johnson made this incedible Batmobile. Carter was so proud of it and Dad was too! The race was so organized and perfect. Let us always remember to count our bleesings. May 19, 2010. I am so proud of my baby boy! Along with his diploma Derrick won an award of Excellence for being the "most serious". It totally fits him. Derrick has graduated preschool and is ready for kindergarten. We love his preschool. They are also our day care. They had a big bbq and bounce houses and the kids did a little singing for the parents. It was so fun. Soccer is fun but oh so cold for the spectators. I can't say enough about Carter's coach....
