Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Sorry for the lack of posts. we weren't looking for a house, but happened upon one that is definitely a fixer-upper, but has great potential. So, we put in a really low offer and they accepted it. The last couple weeks have been spent quickly getting our house ready to put on the market and talking about what we are going to tackle first on the new house. Exciting, but exhausting! Wednesday, May 23, 2012. While I was hosting a baby shower for a dear friend, Joel took the girls to Mud Island. They came back happy and wet! Addie played soccer this spring. She got excited every time it was practice or a game and loves kicking the ball at home, but being aggressive is not her strong suit. She probably only touched the ball a handful of times in her 5 games (most of which were throwing it in from the sideline! But we are thankful to play and learn a new sport with fun friends. Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Claire loves sitting up these days. But on occasion still topples over. The girls get a kick out of it. I got them swimsuits with tutus and Addie Lane calls it her new dress. I told her that it was a swimsuit and she corrected me, "no, Mom, swimsuits don't have SKIRTS! We sold our house (* Praise the Lord! And close the day we go on our Young Life Summer Assignment to Sharptop Cove for a month. When we come back at the end of June we are hoping that our new house. Life of the lanes.

Saturday, October 22, 2011. Lots to celebrate around here. Lucy has used the potty for over a week with no accidents! Joel has been on YL staff for 15 years! I'm SO proud of my family! Friday, October 7, 2011. Happy 1st Birthday Claire! We had the best time celebrating Claire's birthday! Memphis has a GREAT new park that all the cousins love. it was the perfect place for a party and the weather was amazing! She likes to stand by herself and cruise around furniture, but no steps yet by herself.

Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Labor Day at the beach. Some sweet friends of ours offered their beach condo to us for Labor Day. We were so excited!
