September 18, 2016. A sun flare makes Chihuly even more beautiful! Even prettier as a reflection. From this angle, it looks like it has antenna. Saffron, an orange-yellow color. The Earth Goddess looks so pretty in the light. I enjoy all botanical gardens, and I wish I had time to visit the ABG more often. I also want to check out their rather new location in Gainesville. That may have to wait until the spring, but I'll let you know what I think of it after I go. Did you enjoy it?

January 1, 2017. A Last Day of Firsts. Entrance to restricted area at Panola Mountain. Wanted to participate in a First Hike this year—that's where you get out and hike on the 1st of January. September 25, 2016. Arabia Mountain is Other Worldly. Yellow daisies at Arabia Mountain. Had scheduled a beach trip for the September full moon, but my trip got rained out, and I really don't have a go-to place to shoot the moon in the Atlanta area. Although, that's something I've been wanting to find, but more often than not, it seems to either rain or be extremely cloudy on our full-moon nights. Cairns on the granite trail. No, this is not the lake. It's the obligatory sun flare.

January 8, 2017. Yard Photography: Ice and Snow. You can actually see a house through the ice on the branch. T was supposed to snow overnight, possibly up to six inches.
