I am a licensed mental health counselor in private practice. After receiving my Masters in. Mental health counseling from the University of Rochester in 2011, I worked at a non-profit organization providing counseling to the uninsured and underinsured and a mental health clinic run by a large Rochester health organization. After licensure, I chose to open a private practice because it allows me to practice with the sole focus on the client. This is also the reason I do not accept insurance.
