Another lovebug in our lives. As if our lives are not crazy enough, we're going halfway around the world to add a daughter to our family. Wednesday, March 18, 2009. She's a U.S. citizen! It's official - Julia is a U.S. citizen and we're cleared to go home! There's not much to post in the way of pictures from the swearing in ceremony because cameras were not allowed past a certain point. We'll be getting in to Atlanta around 10:30 pm on the 19th, assuming our connecting flight from Newark leaves on time.

I'm up early again today, so I thought I'd add a bit more to our post from last night. Many of the signs are in Chinese AND English, which presumably was done for the Olympics. Our guide told us that China, which still is a communist country, is also gradually moving more towards a capitalist society instead of socialism.

Friday, October 23, 2009. This week was a bit traumatic. For our little one. We needed to perform a hearing test because his doctor and therapist suspected hearing loss. So we tried the traditional methods a few weeks ago however we have a feisty. Child and he would have no part in anything that looked like it would. Go into his ears. So we scheduled an ABR.
