My 3 Little Women. Our endeavors to raise our three little ladies for His glory. Monday, December 15, 2014. Another Injury. A Bad One. On December 1st I injured my back. I do this every so often, and I'm usually out of commission for about a week. This time I really went big. I'm just now feeling almost like myself again. Go figure: I'm lean and active, and this back injury is probably the worst I've had. I think God had some priority shifting for me to do. We spent a good bit of time cuddling together!

Just laziness, really. They cost a whopping $26.95-plus-tax-and-shipping at Zenni Optical. And that's only because I always pay the additional 20 bucks for the slim, high-index lenses. My eyeballs have been begging me to just go ahead and order the dumb glasses already. Well, I finally did. Yeah, I thought so, too!

My 3 Little Women. Our endeavors to raise our three little ladies for His glory. Wednesday, November 19, 2014. It has been weeks now since I had a decent run. I AM ALL SORTS OF ANTSY. And that is severely understated. I keep giving it a try, once or twice a week, but my foot keeps telling me "OH NO YOU DON'T, GIRL! Now I'm starting to suspect that the treadmill running is exacerbating my problem! I've not been able to do more than a mile on it since the pain began! Last night I tried the treadmill again.

We missed Nate like crazy, of course. One day he'll have enough seniority to get more than just Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day off. I was excited to try out my new running cleats and see if my silly foot injury had healed. SO GLAD TO REPORT THAT I RAN SEVERAL TIMES PAIN-FREE! Also: running cleats are awesome! With my dad* *.

Sunday, September 21, 2008. Here are a couple updated pics of the kids! Ava just loves her mobile in her crib and PD loves his bike that Chae is letting him use! Ava is getting so big already :) Preston is 2 yrs and 7 months today! He is talking a lot more too and is such a sweet boy! I can't believe I have to go back to work in a week! Thursday, April 02, 2009. Reading and singing to him are the highlights in my day. He would stay outside all day long, whether it was 3o degrees or 110 degrees. He just LOVES anything outside. He often stands at the door and cries because he wants to "go! He is especially fascinated with vehicles and would play in the driver's seat, turning the wheel and fidgeting. I KNOW that it will not last forever, so I am trying to enjoy it while it lasts. Josh and Gage at Gracie's Grammy's. Gage admiring her bravery.

Friday, August 22, 2008. Well, it is certainly easier traveling WITH my husband. Gage slept through two of the three flights to Idaho (he was awake for the LONG three hr flight), and he didn't sleep for even a moment on any of the three flights home, but he did sleep through both layovers in his stroller. This year we're simplifying BIG TIME again. we have the tree and stockings, the nativity set, and my grandma's lighted church. I did up lots of sweets because that is relaxing to me:. Peanut butter blossoms (subbed out the PB so Olivia can enjoy). Oreo truffles (2 batches). Pumpkin cinnamon-chip scone-kies (half scone/half cookie). I did, though! I never was a math whiz. Karens 365 Photos 2009 and beyond! Saturday, 15 August 2015. Day 227 - August 15th. Today dawned bright and sunny so we decided to visit Manor House Wildlife Park. Near Tenby. The park was bought in 2008 by TV Interior Designer Anna Ryder Richardson and has seen much improvement since. The timing of our visit wasn't the best because on arriving we saw signs on display advertising the arrival of Tigers at the park tomorrow! There were lots of animals to see. Our favourites were. Day 226 - August 14th.
